History

The traditional Huentala Hotel was opened in 1976, and it has become an icon in Mendoza’s hotel industry.

It is located in a privileged position right in the heart of the downtown, very close to the main avenue of the city and a few blocks away from the central post office, the banking and the commercial area.

Its name pays homage to the first inhabitants of our land ( the tribe Huarpe Milcayac), from which Huentala or Huentata ( guanaco valley) derives from. The expression of this tribute is also present in its architecture, reminiscent of Spanish colonies.

In the year 2004, Huentala Hotel was adquired by HIH Hotel Investements, and from that moment onwards, they have developed a strategy to place it as a Boutique Hotel. To achieve this, the entire building is being redesigned with a complete transformation of its architecture, its understructure and services, its decoration, furnishing, equipment, room presentation, new services, event lounges, etc.

This is how Huentala Boutique Hotel starts, a new concept in the hotel industry, a superior four-star-hotel which offers a personalised service in a unique atmosphere, where comfort, presentations, classic and modern art and the best wines of Mendoza, are found.
